About Old Rip Van Winkle Bourbon: “a growing body of aficionados believe it to be the finest whiskey on earth” says Garden & Gun Magazine. Julian only releases between 6,000 and 7,000 cases per year. “What Jim Beam produces in about 10 minutes” says Van Winkle.
Julian was quoted in Louisville Magazine: “There’s nobody else in our situation. I can’t think of another product, period. Ferrari, Lamborghini? But if you have the means, you can get one of those. That’s not necessarily true with us. We have people with literally billions of dollars who can’t find a bottle. They could buy a private jet in cash. They’d have an easier time buying our company.”
One blogger recently wrote an article for the Wall Street Journal titled “Bourbon so popular even billionaires can’t find it.” In his article he refers to it as “Kentucky bourbon that is by all accounts one of the most sought-after bottles of booze on earth.”
